By accessing and using the Britannia Stays website and services, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Booking and Reservations

When making a reservation:

• You must be at least 18 years old
• You must provide accurate and complete information
• You are responsible for all charges incurred
• Reservations are subject to availability
• A valid credit card is required to secure your booking

3. Check-in and Check-out

Standard check-in time is 3:00 PM and check-out time is 11:00 AM. Early check-in and late check-out may be available upon request and subject to additional charges. Valid photo identification is required at check-in.

4. Cancellation Policy

Our cancellation policy varies by rate and season:

• Standard Rate: Free cancellation up to 48 hours before arrival
• Non-Refundable Rate: No cancellations or modifications allowed
• Peak Season: 7-day cancellation notice required
• Group Bookings: Custom cancellation terms apply

Cancellations made after the deadline will incur charges equivalent to one night's stay.

5. Payment Terms

Payment is due at the time of booking or check-in, depending on the rate selected. We accept major credit cards and debit cards. Additional charges for services, minibar, or damages will be charged to the card on file.

6. Guest Conduct

Guests are expected to:

• Respect other guests and staff
• Comply with hotel policies and UK laws
• Not engage in illegal activities on the premises
• Not cause damage to property
• Observe quiet hours (10:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate stays for violations of these terms.

7. Liability

Britannia Stays is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings. We recommend using in-room safes for valuables. Our liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for your stay.

8. Smoking Policy

Britannia Stays is a non-smoking establishment. Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas. A cleaning fee of £200 will be charged for smoking violations in rooms.

9. Pet Policy

Pets are welcome in designated pet-friendly rooms with prior arrangement. A pet fee of £25 per night applies. Guests are responsible for any damage caused by their pets.

10. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, or government actions.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
